By booking an appointment with us, you acknowledge and agree to all policies and terms outlined below.

🌿 1. Appointment Policies

Cancellations & No-Shows

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.
To respect our stylists’ time, we require:

• Haircuts: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance

• Color & Specialty Services: Cancel at least 48 hours in advance

• Late Cancellations: 50% service fee

• No-Shows: 100% service fee prior to rebooking

Late Arrivals

We want to give you the full experience.
Arrivals 15+ minutes late without notice may be treated as a no-show and charged the full service fee.

🎨 2. Service Quality & Liability

Service Liability Disclaimer

Our stylists use premium products and professional techniques. However, hair is unique — results vary based on hair history, texture, and aftercare.

Hairglim is not responsible for:

• fading or dryness from improper aftercare

• results affected by drugstore/non-professional products

• chlorine, saltwater, sun exposure, or excessive heat

• damage or color changes caused by services performed elsewhere

Service-Specific Notes

• Color: Concerns must be reported within 3 days

• Keratin/Treatments: Longevity depends on proper aftercare

• K-Tip Extensions: Complimentary adjustments within 7 days

🧴 3. Product Purchases

Product Return Policy

For hygienic and safety reasons:
All retail products are final sale once opened.

🤝 4. Independent Provider Notice

Hairglim hosts independent contractors who rent space and run their own businesses.
They manage their own:

• pricing

• scheduling

• services

• liability

Questions or concerns regarding these services must be addressed directly with the provider.

💰 5. Pricing Transparency

Pricing may vary depending on:

• hair length & density

• product usage

• time required

• service complexity

Any significant price adjustments will always be discussed before starting your service.

👶 6. Children in the Salon

Children are welcome, but must remain supervised at all times.
For safety and professionalism:

• Disruptive behavior may pause or cancel a service

• Providers may decline service if needed

General Risks

Services such as keratin, color, bleach, balayage, toning, and chemical processes may involve:

• dryness

• breakage

• uneven color

• scalp sensitivity

• allergic reactions

• temporary fumes during keratin

Client Hair History Disclosure

You confirm you have disclosed all relevant hair history, including:

• past color or bleach

• keratin/smoothing treatments

• extensions

• thinning or medical-related hair loss

• allergies or sensitivities

• medications affecting hair

• recent health issues

Undisclosed or unknown conditions may affect results. Hairglim is not responsible for outcomes related to incomplete information.

Chemical Treatment Risks

Keratin & chemical services may involve:

• dryness or brittle ends

• slight shedding

• uneven results caused by previous box dye or DIY products

• varying longevity depending on hair type

Hairglim uses Organic Keratin Hair botox and similar products and follows all professional safety procedures.

No Guaranteed Results

Hair is complex and unique.
We cannot guarantee a specific shade, curl reduction, tone, or keratin longevity.

Required Aftercare

You agree to follow all aftercare instructions, including:

• sulfate-free products only

• no washing or sweating for 48 hours after keratin

• no box dyes

• avoiding harsh heat or chemicals

Improper aftercare may shorten or alter results.

Refunds & Adjustments (Chemical Services)

• No refunds for results affected by hair history, aftercare, or personal preference

• Adjustments may be offered at stylist discretion

• Chemical service concerns must be reported within 24 hours

Release of Liability

By booking, you release Hairglim and its staff from liability related to:

• breakage

• reactions

• uneven or unexpected color results

• keratin longevity

• undisclosed hair history

• results impacted by improper aftercare
